The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the results of the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) for external candidates. The announcement was made on Thursday by the Registrar/Chief Executive, Godswill Obioma.
A total of 41,459 candidates registered for the examination, while 39,503 took part in the exam. Also, a total of 26,277 candidates obtained five credits and above including English Language and Mathematics while 34,014 candidates also obtained five credits and above irrespective of English Language and Mathematics.
National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) for admission of JSS 1 students into Federal Unity Colleges is scheduled for Saturday 29th May 2021.
Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal is scheduled from Monday 5th July to Monday 16th August 2021.
Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is scheduled for Monday 23rd August to Monday 6th September 2021.
Candidates are to access their results on NECO website www.neco.gov.ng using their examination registration numbers.
How To Check NECO GCE Results
Candidates are to visit the Results portal to check their results using a token.
Tokens can be obtained in two ways:
- By creating an account, login-in, and purchasing the token online using the payment options.
- By purchasing the token and sharing it with another candidate via email or printing it out.
A token can only be used by one candidate’s unique exam number and each token cannot be used more than 5 times to view a candidate’s result.
- Candidates are to visit: https://result.neco.gov.ng/register to create an account and purchase a token.
- After purchasing the token, candidates are to visit: https://result.neco.gov.ng/.
- Select Exam Year.
- Select Exam Type.
- Enter your Token in the space provided.
- Enter your Registration Number in the space provided.
- Click on “Check Results” to access your result.
