Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) Diploma | Holders of WAEC/SSCE/NECO or GCE O Level with Five Credits (5) English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. |
Pharmacy Technician (PT) | A candidate must have five (5) credits which must include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English Language at WAEC or NECO at not more than two (2) sittings. |
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Diploma | A minimum of five credits passes at SSCE/GCE/NABTEB ‘O’ levels in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings within a space of five years prior to registration with the MLSCN. Candidates with MLA or OND in Science Lab Tech certificate in addition to the requirements above may be considered for admission into 100L of the program. |
National Diploma In Environmental Health (ND EHT) | The minimum entry requirement into the National Diploma in The Environmental Health Science program is Five (5) credit passes in SSCE, NECO, or GCE ordinary level at not more than two (2) sittings. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and anyone from the following: Geography, Economics, Food and Nutrition, Physics, Technical Drawing. Prior to commencing the Environmental Health Technician course, a candidate must produce evidence of holding one of the following qualifications: General Certificate of Education (GCE), West Africa School Certificate (WASC), and National Examination Council (NECO) with at least 5 passes in any of the aforementioned |
Environmental Health Technician (EVT) | Certificates. Note that the five (5) passes must include four (4) credit passes in English, Biology/Health Science, and any two of the following subjects: Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Agricultural Science. Holders of Environmental Health Assistant (EHA), Dental Surgery Assistants (DSA), Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEW) and other related programs with two years’ post qualification experience can be admitted at 200 level of the Environmental Health Technicians Diploma provided, they fulfill the entry requirements. |
Health Information Management (PD HIM) Diploma | Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry/Physics plus any one other subject. |
National Diploma In Health Information Management (ND HIM) | Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. |
Dental Surgery Technician (DST) | 5 credits which must include English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. |
Environmental Health Assistant (EHA) Certificate | Every candidate prior to commencing the training as Environmental Health assistants must produce evidence of possessing the following qualification: Four (4) passes, two at credit level which must include English Language, one science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Health Science or Integrated Science) and any other two subjects in GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB at not more than 2 sittings. |
Environmental Health Technician Re-training (RE-EVT) | Holders of EHA Certificate, DSA, JCHEW, and above requirement with 2 years post qualification experience can be admitted into 200 level EVT Diploma. |
Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW) Certificate | A candidate should possess Three Credit (3) WAEC or NECO in English Language Mathematics, Biology, and any two passes from other subjects. |
Community Health Extension Worker Retraining (RE- CHEW) Diploma | HOLDERS of JCHEW certificate with two-year post-qualification experiences and Five Credits (5) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry will be admitted directly to 200 level |
National Diploma In Dental Therapy (ND DT) | A minimum of five Credit passes in WAEC or NECO which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings. |
Diploma In Health Promotion and Education (DHPE) | A candidate must have at least four (4) credits which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, and any other subject from WAEC or NECO at not more than two (2) sittings. |
National Diploma In Nutrition and Dietetics (ND NUT) | A minimum of five credit passes in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings. |

How to Apply for Katsina State College of Health Sciences and Technology Admission Form
The sales of the online COHESKAT application form start from Monday 1st February 2022 to Friday 18th March 2022.
The cost of the COHESKAT application form is N2,500 and N453 as a Remita processing fee.

- Click on start application
- Register for the first time to create an account
- After creating an account. Use your login details to make payment of the application Form via Remita.
- Select payment type (Bank Branch or Online ATM CARD).
- To make a payment Using Bank Branch prints a payment Slip and take it to any Bank Branch nationwide.
- To make payment using ATM Card follow the online procedures

Cash Payment at the bank through Remita
Present your payment slip to a teller at any Bank branch and request to pay using Remita.
The teller login to Remita and enter the RRR on this Slip, proceed with the transaction, and prints out a payment receipt for you. - Remita Website:
Proceed to the Remita website @ https://www.remita.net
Click on ‘Pay an Invoice’. On the resulting page, enter your RRR (290427602341) in the box
provided and click the “Continue” button.
On the next page, click the “Pay” button again to load the payment gateway.
Enter your Credit/Debit Card information and process payment.
Print your payment receipt from the screen. To print the payment receipt click on Payment History.
- Cash Deposit at the bank:
- Proceed to fill out the online application form.
- At the end submit your application and print:
a) Application Form
b) Acknowledgement Slip containing your entrance examination Date,
Time and Venue
c) Applicants are to come along with their acknowledgment slip at
the examination Venues
d) No applicant will be allowed to sit for the entrance examination without an acknowledgment slip
